✶ GALLERY - DREAM ROOM

This appears to be a gallery featuring ILLUSTRATIONS.

"THE HANGED MAN"

"I was interested in making an illustration with minimal colors, graphical shading, and abstract shapes."

"AVIARY"

"An exploration in rendering out buildings, but in a manner that was simplified yet bold. Inspired by memories of living in Chicago."

"SESSION"

"At any point, if one does not take the chance to make a loving parody of a beer they don't even like drinking, what's the point?"

"WORK FOR NOTHING"

"This particular style of graphic design greatly appealed to me; I wanted to incorporate such elements into a drawing."

"DOMICILE"

"This is such a gentle piece, but the process was a mess and a nightmare. Backgrounds are fun, though."

"BETWEEN"

"A focus on subtler textures. I find a predominantly monochrome black-and-white color scheme interesting to work with."

"BREAKFAST IN UNION"

"Heavily inspired by the works of Kenton Nelson. I wanted a slightly uncomfortable and tired drawing."

"MIDNGIHT"

"I think gambling, nightclubs, and casinos are all very fun subjects to draw! Inspired by, predictably, memories of Las Vegas."

"HELLRAISER"

"A brave experiment with color, as someone who normally avoids the color green. Chunky fire feels best."

"HERALD"

"A shot at brave perspective. The cape came out precisely as desired, a pleasant surprise."

"PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS"

"Wanted a minimally shaded piece with more graphic elements. Spot blacks are happiness."

"DOUBLE VISION"

"The color scheme was very difficult for me."

"SYSTEMS 01"

"1 of 3 images in one of my favorite series of all time. Wanted to illustrate water minimally. Heavily inspired by memories of Chicago."

"SYSTEMS 02"

"2 of 3 images in one of my favorite series of all time. The background elements were rendered simplistically. It makes my heart soar."

"SYSTEMS 03"

"3 of 3 images in one of my favorite series of all time. I used to dream of exploring drain systems as a kid. This is very well a dream of one. I wish I had ceiling lights like this."

"CADMIUM"

"This was actually done as a commission...I think it is a little too maximal in hindsight, but the fountain was a lot of fun to render."

"TOURIST"

"Sepias and faded blues are a very exciting color palette to work in. The blurry city is a fun backdrop to sharper shapes."

"OLD HOLLYWOOD"

"Kind of a visual mess, but I like the faded, almost sickly greens and yellows a lot."

"NOTHING PERSONAL"

"A very minimal piece, also a little old, but kind of timeless for me personally. Plays to a lot of my favorite visual elements."

"SHOALS_EXE"

"I will be brutally honest with you right now: this is my personal DUMBEST drawing of ALL time, which immediately makes it my personal BEST drawing of all time. There must be more opportunities to use the ESRB ratings and the PC CD-ROM software graphics. I haven't laughed so hard in the process of drawing a picture in a very long time. My favorite part was the tiles. It is always the little things."
